For thanksgivingwe went to Paris. Nice city but too big. We left the wednesday before thanksgiving and on the way we stopped by Aachen, this is a small and very quaint german city that offers a christmas market during late november in December. If you want to get into the christmas spirit you definitively have to go to one of these places. We spent about 2 hrs there and we got to drink gluwein, this is a hot type of cider with uite a high alcohol content (from what I tasted), ate some delicious bratwurst and regular hot dogs (but much better than in the US), and split pea soup. We walked around and bought a few things and then got on our way to the "City of light."
Here we aer at the christmas market in Achen germany, it is a great experience
Another picture of the Christmas market, every store is uniquely decorated
We arrived into Paris and it was already dark. We stayed at an awesome hotel, part of the marriott chain, it was quite close to Disneyland Paris, our room was more like an apartment with 2 floors, kitchen, living and dining room, 2 rooms, and very cozy. The kids hit the pool as soon as we go there.
The kids in the hotel's hot tub, they had a really great time
The next morning we headed for Eurodisney, we wanted to take it easy that day and also spend thanksgivingwith somewhat of an american flavor. Eurodisney has 2 parks, one of them is a copy of the MGM studios while the other one is the traditional magic kingdom. The kids voted for the traditional magic kingdom park so that is where we went.
This is a very tall Christmas Tree at the entrance of the park
At Disneyland everybody is happy!
Every so often at the park they blow bubbles and make it seem as if it was snowing
The next day we visited Versailles, it is really amazing lookign at ti for the first time
